Libya police bursts prostitution ring, arrests Nigerians

No fewer than 5 [five] Nigerians in Libya have been arrested for alleged prostitution in the country.

Migrant Rescue Watch, in a post on Tuesday, June 24, said the Nigerians, one man and four women, were arrested in the Salmani area of Benghazi during a raid on a house used by migrants for prostitution. 

“Ras Abidah Police Dept in response to public complaints raided a house in the Salmani area (Benghazi) used by #migrants for prostitution. During the operation, police arrested 1 male and 4 females (1 with child) of Nigerian nationality. All referred to DCIM for legal action,” the post read.
