A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted a two-week bail to former Commander of Force Intelligence Response Team, DCP Abba Kyari.
The bail is to permit Kyari to return home and complete the burial ceremonies for his mother.
The court has scheduled May 31st for the decision on his bail application.
Kyari is currently undergoing trial for drug-related charges brought against him by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
He was apprehended by the NDLEA on February 14, 2022.
