Premier League giants Liverpool have been handed an easy draw in the Europa League group stage Liverpool’s quest for the UEFA Europa League has started on the right foot after the Reds were drawn in a relatively easy group following the draws held in Monaco.
Premier League sides receive mixed bag in Europa League draw.
The Reds were drawn alongside Austrian side LASK, as well as Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise and French club Toulouse in Group E.
The Reds were given a more favorable draw than fellow Premier League side West Ham, who were rewarded for winning last season’s UEFA Europa Conference League by being grouped alongside Greek giants Olympiacos and German side Freiburg, making for a tough first round of fixtures for the Hammers.
The most exciting draw in the Group Stage also involves an English side, as Brighton were paired with Ajax, Marseille, and AEK Athens.
