Former Chelsea manager, Graham Potter has rejected an offer to coach Rangers.

According to The Sun, Rangers made an approach to Potter’s representatives, but he rejected a switch to Ibrox.

The report claimed that the Englishman is holding out for a club who play Champions League football, or a team that has ‘clear potential’ to qualify consistently for the Europe top-flight competition.

Rangers are considering replacements for Michael Beale after the club’s wobbly start to the new 2023/24 season.

They have already lost two of their four Scottish Premiership matches and have failed to reach the Champions’ League group stage.

Potter, meanwhile, has been out of work since he was sacked by Chelsea in April this year.

The former Brighton coach also turned down a move to Lyon earlier this month.
