He noted that although the dreams of the nation’s founding fathers may not yet be fully realized, substantial gains have been made, particularly in economic development.
“In 65 years, we have witnessed remarkable progress—economically, socially, and structurally. From just 120 secondary schools in 1960 to over 23,000 today; from two tertiary institutions to over 690 nationwide. Our economy, despite setbacks, has grown and diversified significantly,” he stated.
