Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, received the Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, at the Lagos House, Marina, on Sunday.
The governor, who described the monarch as a “king among kings” stated that the visit was a testament to the “commitment to cultural harmony and collaboration: between Lagos and Edo States.”
Sanwo-Olu, who took to his page on X (formerly Twitter) to express his delight, tweeted in a statement titled ‘Oba ghato kpere ise.’
The governor stated, “Honored to host His Royal Majesty, Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II of Benin, a king among kings this beautiful Sunday at Lagos House, Marina.
