A notable Nigerian politician, Mojisola Meranda born in August 1980 in Lagos, Nigeria and she happens to be the first female speaker of the Lagos state house of assembly representing Apapa constituency 1 and she has been a member of the Lagos state house of assembly since 2015.
Mojisola Meranda emerged following the impeachment of former speaker Mudashiru Obasa.
Mojisola Meranda, was previously the Deputy Speaker of the 10th Assembly.
She has been a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly for three consecutive terms, starting from 2015.
With her new role, Meranda is expected to lead the House and ensure the passage of laws that benefit the people of Lagos.
