In Achusa Village, Benue State, a 29-year-old woman named Torkwase Kpile allegedly stabbed her husband to death following an argument about sex.
The couple, married for two months, clashed over the issue before Torkwase grabbed a kitchen knife and attacked her husband, Igbah Kpile, fatally injuring him.
Neighbors, alerted by the husband’s screams, found him severely wounded.Despite being rushed to a nearby clinic, he passed away on the way.
Torkwase, reportedly unremorseful and angry, accused her husband of constantly demanding sex.
She has since fled, prompting a police investigation into the murder.
The spokesperson for the Benue State Police Command, SP Catheren Anene, could not be reached for comment despite multiple attempts.
