Hoodlums attack bus, cart away christmas gifts for Ibadan family heads

A group of hoodlums launched an attack on a bus transporting Christmas gifts designated for family heads (Mogajis) in Ibadan.

The incident occurred as the bus was maneuvering at the Oja Oba area. The identity of the donor behind the gifts has not been disclosed as of the time of this report.

Reportedly, the bus was en route from the Beere area to the Olubadan Palace at Oja Oba, with Nurudeen Akinade, the Mogaji of Onilari compound, leading the vehicle when the attack took place.

Subsequent to the incident, some arrests were made following the report lodged at the Mapo Police Station.

According to a source, the hoodlums made off with the donated gift items intended for the Mojajis in Ibadan, which included provisions like rice, chicken, and groundnut oil.

Efforts to recover some of the items led to searches conducted in shops within the vicinity.
