Ganiu Morufu, a popular comedian also known as Ijoba Lande, has stated that he is willing to forgive his wife over allegations of infidelity so he can make heaven.
Speaking during a TikTok live session on Monday, Lande explained that his decision to forgive was influenced by his desire to make heaven.
His comments come after his estranged wife, Dara, broke her silence on the allegations.
Earlier, Lande had accused his wife of being involved with at least 21 men in the entertainment industry, naming Baba Tee as one of them in a viral interview and an Instagram post.
Responding to this allegation, she clarified that her encounter with Yoruba Nollywood actor Babatunde Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee, was misrepresented and did not engage in any sexual activity with him.
Initially, Baba Tee denied the allegations, stating that he had only met Dara once in 2023 through actress Marygold, who introduced her as a content creator.
However, the 45-year-old actor later admitted to having a sexual encounter with Dara explaining how it happened.
He claimed he was unaware of her marital status at the time and that the incident occurred during a drinking game.
However, in response to the situation, Lande stated that while he is willing to forgive his wife, he will not take her back and will ensure he does not make the same mistake again.
“I will not accept her back, but for me to make it to heaven and for God to forgive me, I will forgive her for what she has done. But she is gone.
“No matter what anyone does to you in this life, if they ask for forgiveness, please forgive them.
But do not allow it to repeat itself—don’t make the same mistake twice,” he said.
