The remains of the former Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, have been repatriated to Nigeria.
The aircraft carrying the late Governor’s body touched down at approximately 3:39 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024.
Late Akeredolu’s remains were brought back to the country from Germany, where he had passed away.
His wife, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, along with his children and siblings led by Prof. Wole Akeredolu, his immediate younger brother, were present to receive the body.
Governor Akeredolu succumbed to prostate cancer on December 27, 2023.
