A Pakistan man murdered daughter over Tiktok videos.
According to a report, A man who recently came back to Pakistan with his family confessed to killing his daughter because he disapproved of her TikTok content.
According to Pakistani news outlet Geo News, a man named Anwar ul-Haq shot dead her daughter on a street in Balochistan’s Quetta on Tuesday.
During his interrogation, the man initially said that it was an unidentified gunman who shot and killed his US-born daughter. However, he eventually confessed to his wrongdoings.
“Our investigation so far has found that the family had an objection to her dressing, lifestyle, and social gathering,” a police investigator named Zohaib Mohsin told local reporters.
“We have her phone.
It is locked.
We are probing all aspects, including honour killing,” he added.
As per the report, the family recently returned to the Balochistan province after living in the United States for about 25 years.
The authorities noted that the suspect has US citizenship.
According to Geo News, Haq had told authorities that his daughter began creating “objectionable” content on the social media platform TikTok when she lived in the United States.
