The Kwara State Police Command has arrested three suspected armed robbers in Ilorin.
They are John Ndubusi Nbakogu, Toheeb Suleiman, and Bolakale Quadir, also known as Adaka.
The police recovered a small gun and a phone used during the alleged robbery.
The arrest followed an incident in Oko-Erin, Ilorin, where a citizen was robbed of his phone by three armed men while attending to traps.
The quick response of the police led to the first suspect’s arrest, and further investigation led to the capture of the other two.
The suspects will face prosecution, and the public is encouraged to keep cooperating with law enforcement by providing helpful information.
The state Commissioner of Police, Victor Olaiya, assured the public of the command’s commitment to ensuring safety and security, stating that Kwara State will not be a haven for crime.
He pledged to bring criminals to justice while maintaining order in communities.
