President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after spending two weeks abroad.
The president had flown out of Abuja in April to the Netherlands and then Saudi Arabia, but his absence in public spaces and silence on national issues sparked speculations about his whereabouts.
According to the NTA, Tinubu returned on Wednesday, May 8, confirming the statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and strategy, Bayo Onanuga, on Tuesday, that Tinubu President will come back on Wednesday.
He said:
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, along with his aides, will return to Nigeria tomorrow from Europe.”
