NSCDC, Kogi state chapter has arrested three suspects for criminal conspiracy and vandalism.

The Kogi state command of the Nigerian security and civil defense corps, NSCDC commandant, Akinlade Esther said that the crime was committed on the 7th and 20th of October 2024, in Ankpa, and Isanlu in Yagba East Local Government of the State respectively.

She noted that the arrests were made possible through the joint efforts of security guards and officers of the Corps.

She added that one of the suspects, identified as Agbo Christian, from Enugu State, with others who are currently at large, vandalized armored cables within the premises of the Nigerian Television Authority in Ankpa.

He said:

“On 20th October 2024, at around 0900hrs, two suspects, James Nifemi (29) and Ibrahim Jafaru (37), were arrested by NSCDC officers, in collaboration with the community members of OFIN in Isanlu, Yagba East LGA.

“They were found in possession of armoured cables stolen from a community transformer.”
