Former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon has refuted the circulating rumors of his passing on Monday.
As per NAIJAHITZ, the false information regarding his demise has gained traction across various social media platforms.
However, his Personal Media Aide, Adeyeye E. Ajayi, clarified in a brief statement on Monday night that the former military leader is very much alive.
Ajayi conveyed Gowon’s message, stating,
“I am still around and well. I am not in a hurry.”
