Portable blasts Tinubu for high prices of goods, raises his own show fee to 3.5M

Portable, has taken issue with President Bola Tinubu over economic challenges, expressing his discontent as he raised the price for his show from 2.5 million to 3.5 million.

In a video gaining traction online, the singer voiced his concerns, stating that everything has become excessively expensive.

He attributed the high cost to the president, citing the expensive fuel prices set by the government, which, in turn, has led people to act as if they are affluent.

Due to the escalating prices of essential commodities such as fuel and Garri, Portable disclosed that he decided to increase the price of his show by a million naira compared to the 2.5 million naira he charged the previous year.

The singer emphasized that this decision was prompted by the economic realities facing the country.
