The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) confirms the arrest of the controversial transgender, Bobrisky while revealing their reasons for the action.
Naijahitz reports earlier this today that Bobrisky was arrested at his residence in Pinaccle Estate, Lagos on the 3rd of April.
Confirming his arrest, EFCC spokesman, Mr Dele Oyewale exclusively revealed to LIB, the cause of Bobrisky’s arrest.
He stated that the crossdresser was arrested for currency mutilation and abuse of the Naira.
In his words:
“He is with us. We arrested him over currency mutilation and abuse of Naira. He is in our facility in Lagos State.”
